What is the road/off-road percentage?
Each circuit has its own specific sections, but we promise that our aim is to get you as far off-road as possible.
What type of accommodation will we be staying in?
You can expect to stay in a variety of accommodation types, including hotels, local lodges and campgrounds, for a varied experience combining local charm and luxury.
Do I need a visa?
Most European countries do not require a visa.
To be sure, check with your local South African embassy.
Your passport should be valid for 6 months or more after your return date, with at least one blank page.
How is navigation going?
All participants will receive an Electronic Road Book. Just follow the instructions.
Will there be a vehicle to transport my suitcase?
For groups of 6 or more bikes, we'll provide a 4x4 in which you can fit your suitcase (maximum 60 liters).
Do I need an adapter to connect my electrical appliances?
The current is 220v and 50 Hertz (as in Europe), but the sockets are
different. Adapters are only available in South Africa, so we'll provide you with one on arrival.
Is there a time difference?
Yes, only in winter, it's 1 hour longer.
How easy is it to change money in South Africa?
We recommend that you withdraw cash on arrival in Cape Town, at an ATM machine found at the airport and just about anywhere else in the country.
Can I use my credit card to pay for personal expenses?
Yes, credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.
Will I be able to connect to the Internet?
The easiest way is to buy a data SIM card in a store.
